  • The fifth-grade fundraiser is currently taking place and will be open for 2 weeks. The order form (white and yellow copies) along with the money envelope is due on Monday, September 18th.  Please be sure to fill out the money envelope with your child's name, amount enclosed and prize selection.  This fundraiser is so important because the money earned purchases prizes and treats for Thursday Thrills, funds classroom supplies and assists with funding portions of our field trips.

  • We worked on:  Read aloud - Saved by the Boats by Julie Gassman.  Our writing prompt is:  How did both boats and crew members help the people of New York City on 9/11.  Students may use the notes they took while listening to both stories to help them write their stories.

  • We worked on:  A volume experiment in class where students worked in groups to predict, test and record their findings.

    • Money goes into the collection envelope to be turned in at the end of the sale.
    • Students must turn in the white & yellow order forms with their money envelope. You need to keep the pink slip so you know who to deliver the items to.
